Great Hall, Hart House
Rachmaninoff, Bruckner, Pärt, and more!
Well, it's late February. The Intervarsity Choral Festival 2005 has come and gone (very well, thank you for asking), as has, thankfully, the simultaneous flooding of my apartment (dealt with). They've meant that I've been away from my life and computer, respectively, which provides a handy excuse for this past month's pause from blogging.
I'll be posting more about the choral festival soon, mostly because I want to, and that's the sort of self-indulgent behaviour that you, my adoring audience, have come to demand. Also, there are a bunch of photography-worthy events coming up that will help to pad out some more posts.
As an example of my festival-addled state of a few weeks ago, I glanced out of my window at work, and saw this on the building across the street:
at which point, and I'm quoting my inner voice directly, I thought "Huh. Monkeys on that building," and went back to what I was doing.
