Hmm. Half a month since

Hmm. Half a month since my last post.

This year's cocktail party was a success. There are photos.

Also, I went to the TTC's Sheppard Subway Line opening ceremonies open house. I took pictures, but they're not up yet (surprise!). Later, over lunch, Mike danced and the menu was perplexing:

Who was I having a conversation with about the idea of using pudding as currency? And how you'd have to design an APM? I can't remember. If you do, please let me know.

Well, I'm pretty pleased with

Well, I'm pretty pleased with myself. On Tuesday, I ran my first 10km route. Well, it was 10 iterations of 5 minutes running, 1 minute walking. But still.

This is interesting, if you're a transit geek: a TTC Fare Collection Study. The interesting part, for me, was about automatic fare collection (AFC) -- it begins on page 15.
