So. There are new items

So.

There are new items in the Upcoming Events section (down the right hand side of the page).

There's also a new Hart House Chorus Website, for those of you interested in such things. I managed to remain pretty much uninvolved in its creation, aside from contributing a graphic or two.

I've also started in on the first course of my part-time Master's degree programme at U of T: MIE1402 Experimental Methods in Human Factors Research. It is described as follows:

The course deals with practical problems associated with the design of experiments in Human Factors research, with an emphasis on the use of statistical packages and data analysis tools. Topics covered will include analysis of variance, non- parametric statistics, balanced and unbalanced block designs (including Latin squares), confidence intervals, etc. Stress is given to practical problems and the intuitive understanding of applied statistics.

There are textbooks! [1 2]

I still haven't captioned the photos from the christmas holidays yet, but they're uploaded. It'll be soon, honest.

Oh, there's a new entry on the "story of livesquidinabox.com" page. And this is pretty cool: Finding the Speed of Light with Marshmallows.
